It’s no secret I love a good handbag. Handbags are the ultimate investment purchase as far as I’m concerned. I’m not sure where this love of bags started, but it’s been going strong for many years now.
When I sat down to collect my thoughts for this “top 10” letter, things went sideways quickly. I had a solid seven chosen, but started to remember this one! And that one! And this one! I also tried to narrow the list down with day and night bags, but so many are interchangeable and I also don’t believe in assigning anything to a certain time of day.

I got her late fall last year, and she very quickly became my go-to every day bag. The size, the shape, and the durability of this bag is all just so perfect. This was my 41st birthday present to me. I’d been admiring her from afar for forever, and what better occasion to treat yourself than your birthday?! Because I was in San Diego to celebrate, I went to the Fashionphile headquarters to look at a few in person. The sales associate pulled this one for me knowing it was a birthday treat and, get this — this exact Box Leather Sellier Hermès just so happens to be from the same year I was born!
